Clayton Festival - Impact on Parking

The 2019 Clayton Festival will be held at the Clayton Community Centre and Cooke Street on Sunday 24 February 2019. The event and associated closures will impact parking facilities for Centre users including Swim School participants. 

Cooke Street, including the Clayton Community Centre car park, will be closed from the entryways to the Coles car park from 5.00am - 11.30pm on Sunday 24 February.

Alternative parking for Clayton Aquatics & Health Club members and Swim School families will be provided in Cooke Street between the hours of 8.00am - 1.00pm. Entry to this parking area is via Dunstan Street, please present your membership card to the Traffic Controller. Please note that you will not be able to access this parking area via Centre Road.

If you experience any difficulties on the day of the festival, please contact the Event Control Centre on 0499 000 828 anytime between 5am - 11.30pm.



Should this parking area be full, there is also designated parking nearby in Dunstan Street. Event Traffic Controllers will assist you. Please ensure that you arrive with enough time to park as there may be some congestion around the festival site. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience. 

We encourage everyone to attend this popular community event. The Clayton Festival features stage entertainment, a dedicated children’s area with free rides, food and market stalls, roving entertainment, library activities and environmental workshops.

To celebrate the Clayton Festival, Clayton Aquatics & Health Club will offer free pool entry from 12.00pm - 6.00pm on Sunday 24 February 2019!
